Here's what I'm all about...
Hey, thanks for stopping by! I'm Jaz Moss, UK session bassist and founder of The Bass Mastermind.
Here's my bio:
Born just outside London Jaz started classical saxophone and piano lessons at a young age. His love for music picked up considerably when he found his Dad’s old record collection. At the age of 13, Jaz immersed himself in the London music scene and switch to bass guitar after seeing Julian Crampton (Incognito's bass player) perform live.
In his late teens, Jaz studied with some of the greatest musicians to of ever lived and at some of the best conservatories in the world which include Berklee College Of Music, The Royal Academy Of Music, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, The Purcell School Of Music, Jeff Andrews (Michael Brecker & Mike Stern), Dave Swift (Jools Holland), Julain Crampton (Incognito), Rob Mullarkey (Jacob Collier), Laurence Cottle (Pee Wee Ellis), Rufus Philpot (Allan Holdsworth), Julian Joseph (Brandford Marsalis), Paul Westwood (Elton John & David Bowie) and many more!
Now in his early twenties, Jaz has played, written, produced and/or arranged for numerous artists in almost all genres of music touring the world performing on some of the worlds most famous stages earning his reputation as a 'musician's musician'.
"Young, enthusiastic, and incredibly talented, Jaz is nothing but a joy to work with. His attitude is only matched by his aptitude."

Why Did I Set Up The Bass Mastermind?
Visit The Bass Mastermind
I've been trained in music all my life and I've studied with some of the greatest musicians to of ever lived, and there's not a day that goes by that I take it for granted!
The Bass Mastermind was just a platform I created for my bass students who were fed up with membership sites and wanted more support.
After launching the platform, I've been able to connect with bass players from around the world!
"I've been fortunate to of played with some incredible musicians! I try to take something from each of them to create my own sound and style, making me the musician I am today."
